The White Eagles U11 team ended their season at a great third place in the league, which gave the players the right to play in the Final Four. In the semi-final game, which was played on Monday against Rangers Royals 08.
Already before the game, our coaches, players and parents realized that the third place in the league was a great success, because we were the youngest team in the league, with the majority of our players younger by a year, two or even three years than the U11 age category.
This age difference was the main reason for the defeat in the semi-final with the Rangers team. Our young players in the confrontation with the Rangers Royals did not lack technical skills that were close to the opponents, the maximum commitment, or leaving their heart on the pitch. The difference that decided about the final result was too much discrepancy in terms of physical conditions – the opponents were faster and physically stronger and this time the obstacle was not overcome by the U11 White Eagles team.
Our players are applauded for the progress they have made over the past six months, the emotions they have provided to all fans, and volitional features, because these boys never give up and we will be hearing loud about them next season! At least as loud as all the families cheering their kids in the stands.
BRAVO TO THE TEAM!
